Several facts about teen homelessness:
34% of the homeless population is under 24 years old
80% of homeless youths (12-21 years old) use drugs or alcohol as a means to deal with traumatic experiences such as abuse
1.7 million homeless teens are in the U.S.
This November we would like to bring awareness to the teen homelessness. Everyone deserves a loving home.
Our little house was made from golf tees found on local golf courses. We painted the roof the color red to symbolize love. We should all have a place to call home. Please help and remember the homeless this month.
